Academics

Academic programs at TASIS have always been given the highest priority by both the School's dedicated teachers and the administration. In the Lower and Middle Schools, the Core Knowledge Sequence provides the foundation for the curriculum, which ensures that all students in these divisions learn a coherent and unified body of knowledge and academic skills. Upper school students follow a challenging college-preparatory curriculum, with the option of pursuing the International Baccalaureate Diploma or Advanced Placement courses in many subjects. Students for whom English is a second language receive outstanding support through a dedicated International Section with a full range of English and academic courses. All TASIS students receive individual academic advice and help, and upper school students receive extensive college counseling in their Junior and Senior years.
